On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Steel Mage live from the Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire, UK.
The guys tell us about how they got to Bloodstock, after they won the competition for Metal to the Masses, specifically the Sheffield competition. They talk about how they’ve been looking to do it for a while now but with Covid, this has been the first year they were able to do so. They also talk about how being at Bloodstock as a result has been surreal for them.
Pipeman asks about the injured leg of one the band members, as he explains that after many alcoholic beverages were consumed throughout the day, they decided going to a park and climbing on a swing would be a good idea, which resulted in a fall from 2.5 meters and a broken ankle.
Speaking about their music, they describe it as raw, energetic and melodic. They go in to say it’s fast and brutal too! They also discuss how they deal with the haters around them but say they’re good at dealing with it and don’t let it affect them too much.
You can check the guys out on all the social media platforms as well as YouTube where you can find all of the music videos for the songs. For merch you can look on Our Big Cartel as well as Bandcamp. Finally check out their brand new album As the Chapel Falls which has been getting a great response so far!
